Yes you had to pre-order their CD to get a code. You dont get to choose your seat though. Their idea of best seats are not the same as us who go regularly unfortunately. Good luck if you are going to try.

My friend ordered some this morning, we are in the Dolman…

Very happy to hear a family member has secured standing tickets for us whilst I was at work. Was told that standing presale sold out so glad I got mine as I hate sitting at concerts or even being in the stands.

A friend of mine pre-ordered the album and just got us tickets in the South Stand. Same block and row I had my Season Ticket in last season, just around £40 more expensive than a game of football!

And a lot further away from the action!

Killers tickets seem to already be on resale on a few sites. £100+ for South stand

What sort of fool would bid on something that hasn't gone on general sale?!?!

"Touts" already secured presale tickets I would think and selling them on.

Exact reason why ticket master shouldn't exsist.

It's a consequence of the presale. And I don't think it is just Ticket master preselling them.

But in general all these ticket agencies and their spurious fees are a pain in the butt.

ticket disaster

Refused to sell me a ticket for Hull at Wembley because I did not have a English post code

I had that issue for a gig in New Zealand this December, Ticketmaster wouldn’t sell me a ticket because I didn’t have a New Zealand address but they happily sold it to my mate who lives in New Zealand using my card details!!

I'm assuming they had a limited number of pre sale tickets available?

Yes. Not sure how many but it’s a small percentage against general sale.

Missed the pre sale but managed to get 2 tickets in W3 this morning. Much more than I wanted to pay but never thought I’d get the chance to see them in Bristol so what the hey.

Keep searching is my advice.

You have 24 hours to cancel your purchase and it happens quite a lot where people buy multiple sets and then cancel what they don’t want (ie if several people in a group are all trying to buy at the same time and they end up with too many tickets)

I’ve had it before where you’ll search for ages and it’ll say nothing is available but then something pops up. Slim chance but better than none.

I got through 3 times to select my tickets and each time it said my tickets could not be found!! Didn't get any!

Me too. Shite ticket distribution. Why should people be allowed 8 tickets?

Because they have 7 mates?

In all seriousness though, I would imagine the promoter wants the tickets sold ASAP and cash in the bank, I don't imagine for one moment they care who actually buys them, as long as they are sold.

Hopefully those who missed out are able to find tickets somewhere.

Correct. If there's 8 people want to go they can share the booking duties.

Indeed. Especially for standing where you’re not actually being allocated a seat.

By the time you take out Vip, hospitality, freebies, competitions or whatever there’s probably what, 25,000 tickets max? Only takes 3,000 bookings at 8 tickets a pop to sell out, no wonder it goes fast.

No doubt they’ll be appearing all over eBay at double the cost soon

Got mine from SeeTickets and it was maximum 4. Didn't even see 8?

Viagogo has some seated tickets at £290 odd already.

I’m doing nothing at work so I will buy another two tickets if I can get any and then I’ll be happy to pass them on to a fellow red at the same price I pay.

Started off trying to get three, ended up with one… Never mind, my friend will have to sit on her own. Better than not going at all. (The other two have decided against going at all)

Managed to get 2 in the South stand which is what we wanted. Took about 3 or 4 attempts on Ticker Shafter, starting at 9 am prompt. Each time it was saying none available for my selection. But persistence paid off.

For those who weren't so lucky you may be able to pick up tickets very near to the event date. Quite often people have to cry off at the last minute and sell on Gumtree or FB market place. Usually at face value or even below. Ebay as well, though they are usually being sold at a mark up price. Good luck

If it’s any consolation only a few tickets are allocated in the pre sale

Ok aside from the absolute obvious huge hits, what songs are people hoping might make an appearance?

I’d like to hear Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll, A Dustland Fairytale, Bling and Miss Atomic Bomb.

After 2 standing tickets if anyone has any for sale

there's 2 on ticketmaster in the dolman on resale for £208 each. Apparently they explain that resale is 'tickets by fans for fans'!
