Not true Wheelchair users are but ambulant disabled who must phoned are not separate

So they are sat within the same area as the rest of us?

I'm missing why they should be given any priority in that situation

Those with a wheelchair and having a carer are given specialist tickets so not affected by these earlier sales

When I phoned this morning, was told by TKT office, one TKT each untill general sale,

The ticket system allows you to buy multiple tickets providing the owners are eligible - so I  buy on behalf on my mates, all season ticket holders of 50 years standing,  ensuring we sit together. Tickets are allocated to the legitimate owners. No scam.

We are. We so are.

Derby is 11 miles further on from Burton. We sold out the Burton allocation - 1700 - two years running, yet take a few hundred to Derby County.

I still think we are a L1 club - you can take a club out of L1, but .... etc - or a lower league club with a big following for big cup occasions and the odd league game but are really happier being a big ish fish at a smaller piss pot club like Burton, Rovers etc

Nope, a Premier League club in training......

Like that will make a difference in that soulless bowl of a stadium.

I agree. All it means is that Reading will have less away fans, I can’t see any more start to follow them. I have only been there once but it was a ‘never again’ type of experience.

Chatting to a few of their fans before the match they sounded really flat. They had just had their Premiership experience and didn’t see themselves getting anywhere near that again for quite a while. I can see them being relegated to league one before they make that challenge again too. The fans weren’t up for the fight and it makes a non atmosphere I found. Quite a weird experience as an away trip.

They split what was the away end in half now.

All to do with getting home support on all four sides of the ground

For big games, for derby games, for important games at the end of the season.

We could do that- 2,300, suitable segregation then home fans in the rest- I hope the club take note. Proximity to away fans can help too. Would the demand be there for normal games mid season? Possibly not- but like what we did v Derby and in the Cup games v the Manchester sides, I hope this is something we consider again.

I've been 4 times and will go again this season just as it's close if nothing else.

But it really isn't a good away day as you said.

Dead ground, no where near anything in particular, beer that is 99% bleach, stewards think they're border control and the traffic leaving is shocking.

Reading is a great away day as long as you leave it late to go from the city centre to the ground and then make a sharpe exit back to the city centre after the game.

Agree, there are some great little pubs just off the city centre, always enjoy Reading away.

I’m also once and never again.

Had a lift down- got stuck in traffic so took the best part of 5 hours, also queued at the box office to collect my ticket for 20 minutes in the rain and missed the first 15 mins of the game.

Rubbish game which we lost 1-0 in injury time.

My lift was continuing to Bristol so I had to get the train back to Manchester and got stuck in traffic to the station cutting it fine to catch the train.

Raced into the station to try and find a shop to buy something to read and something to eat only to find all them all shut.

Phone battery died as I got on the train and I find that I’ve left my charger in my mates car.

Shop on train is also shut.

Train is delayed giving me 4 hours to sit with nothing to do except stare out the windows and ponder the result whilst starving hungry. Never been so bored (with possible exception of the 75 mins of the game id just watched...).

all in all not my best away day!

That's the club. As for us lot - just picture a Monday night, the away end at Burnley* live on sky, and tell me what you see: a "Premier League club" following, or a L1 following?

Ive supported City for over 50 years, and throughout that whole time i think the club/fans have always had a Championship , 2nd Division old money, mentality. However the " Premier League Club in training" tag is i think now true, and that is our destiny. The club is continuing to put in place the infrastructure/facilities and our growing support (season tickets up/away following) is catching up.

There are no guarantees, but the future looks bright, even if i can not get a bloody ticket for first Luton and now Fulham

Got my ticket for the home end. £43 ! Bloody London prices . Going with my Fulham supporting mate .

Someone I know did the same but has since had contact advising them their purchase has been cancelled

Don't forget it's common practice for clubs to swap details of supporters purchase history.

I hate to say this but if you have purchase history with City you will do VERY well to keep these tickets

I suspect the same unfortunately- posting it on a public forum too is something that would have helped Fulham further.
