Seem strange that it has happened so close to the end of the current international break.

Also Levy has to take some blame, for not releasing the purse strings enough!

Neil Warnock anyone!??!!

Wow, just wow! CL final one minute, big red panic button the next. Cue fire sale of players....

It's been coming for a long time. It's obvious he lost interest. Was never given any money for players

Does a great job of getting the best out of players but hasn't won trophies. Weird one this. Should have won the league the season Leicester did but threw it away. Might be a risk for a really big club but destined for success surely

Paul Hawksbee (spurs supporter talkSPORT presenter) said the other week , he blames levy. Poch told certain players they were surplus then levy didn’t do his job in the transfer market , hence unhappy players. Mad scrabble for Kane now .

All the available money went into the new stadium - hence none available for Poch to improve the squad. Despite that he took them to the CL final but the league form particularly the home form and poor results are what cost him his job.

He will almost certainly end up at United, most clubs would happily have paid circa £10m for him and now they get his for nothing, not very Levy-like?

Expecting a quickfire replacement here, so the favourite has to be Jose.

Would love to see Eddie get a shot at a big club

Yeah if he was given a few season at a big club to set his ways and get his players it would be good to see

Eddie Howe? Brendan Rodgers would be a good fit as well

Eddie Howe certainly deserves a chance at a big club. If Spurs give him that chance I reckon Bournemouth is the sort of club that may consider LJ ... personally I don’t think LJ has done enough in the game yet to warrant a premier league job but “it’s a funny old game Saint...”

Job for...........Rafa.

That was my first thought .... bet West Ham are gutted there’s a vacancy at Spurs now - lots of press rumours they would go for Rafa if Pellegrini departs - the Hammers are on a terrible run - from top six to relegation worries .... now they’ll be seen as a less attractive management job than Spurs ...

Same. The wolves manager would be interesting also.

May as well add Sean Dyche to the list.

Could see Nuno fitting in well with Spurs. Will go on to be a top level manager I reckon

Cannot believe he's been sacked. Completely revitalised the club and now won't get a chance to build on the progress made at the new ground.

Mike Cook, you didn't deserve Gloucester City's treatment of you.

Pretty harsh on Poch too.

Why ? Wolves manager and Eddie Howe play completely different football to Dyche. Football that would suit spurs

Wasn't there a manager at Chelsea who was sacked after the team won the champions league?

The Wolves manager has been at Porto- a European Cup and a CL won and Valencia- he's used to both midrange and big clubs so there's a good shift.

@AppyDAZE Is he such an issue though,  Levy? Under his tenure they've grown as a club a hell of a lot in 10 years or so. His tenure should IMO take a decent level of credit.

Something has gone badly wrong for them this season though!

Pochettino to Bayern perhaps, think it would be a good fit for Benitez too- either Bayern or Tottenham that is.

I included Dyche because he’s relatively inexperienced as Howe is in the PL. His playing doesn’t come into it.
