Pretty sure he was sub behind joe Murphy last wkd

No he played. He's just come back from injury.

I am delighted with the draw. Not an easy game, but a game that should be a good test for the likes of Semenyo. Hoping he gives a youngster a debut like Towler who looked excellent in 23s game.

Guess we can expect Maenpaa, Szmodics, Semenyo, Wright, maybe Dasilva if he's just coming back. Bakinson and Adelakun possibly although they seem to be a bit out of favour. Maybe Janneh as well if he's back from Torquay and not gone elsewhere.

In all seriousness, he can't play. How would it look if he had a 'mare and gave the game away?

Didn't Tomori play for Derby v Chelsea last season and score an OG? Can't look any worse than that.

I'd play him and trust he's got enough pride and integrity to give a full account of himself - even if that won't stop Szmodics bagging 4.

Good draw.

We can give an outing to 2-3 fringe players, not too many though as we want to progress.

We're not a big enough club to take the piss out of Shrewsbury by playing a disjointed team of reserves.

We should make the 4th round with this draw, so with the prospect of bigger ties to follow make sure we do LJ!

Shit draw as ever. ?

The opposite of teams like Forest & Leeds, that pick Arsenal,Chelsea,ManUtd...

Port Vale got Man City away!

Though tbh, given what happened with Bury,  it's good from a broad perspective if lower/non League sides get these big ties. Also nice from a Cup tradition POV.

Just 21 years ago,  Port Vale were above Man City in the pyramid. So were we in fact...1998/99. Grimsby too.
