I don’t think persuading a fleetwood player to sign for your club makes you a good premier league manager...

It does when that player sets the premier league alight, scores in 11 consecutive league games, wins the premier league title, gets called up by his country, gets better and better and continues to score for fun ever since ...

Maybe a good negotiator, but it doesn’t make him a good manager imo

It’s been widely acknowledged that Pearson laid the foundations for Leicester’s remarkable success - signing Vardy, and his role in that transfer, was vitally important and Vardy’s phenomenal achievements since are a testament to what Pearson put in place ...

Yep LJ would rightly get plaudits on here for that sort of thing if a Fleetwood player did that at our level for us
