Great result, well done City.

O'Dowda is not someone to bring on defending a lead, mental that.

Couldn't believe he came on at that point.

At fault for their goal pretending to be a lamp post, could have given a penalty away, stupid free kick 10 yards outside the box.

Great impact.

One of our best team performances this season IMO. The work rate and application was excellent and against a decent team we played thoughtful and composed football. This particular starting eleven are looking like a balanced team and we have great options on the bench.

Hard to pick out individuals after such a game but Bentley yet again made a crucial save at 1-0, delighted that Fammy bagged one again he worked really hard all over the pitch.

Final word to the travelling fans, great vocal support throughout today, well played!

O'Dowda's biggest flaw is he isn't as good as he thinks he is.  Really hasn't stepped up since signing a new contract  shame as he looked promising at one point.

Yeah, apparently he looked good away to Norwich last season?

Think we earned that luck at the end. Looked a clear pen. Well done LJ and the boys.

We've been done by many of them already this season, plus many many more over previous years which has resulted in letters of apologies being issued. I'm ******* delighted that for once one has gone our way ??

Agree, I think that taking Elliason off and replacing him with COD put us on the back foot and invited them on to us. Not withstanding the pen he almost gave away, it took the attacking threat away and allowed Fulham to dictate the last 10 minutes plus and instead of a comfortable win, it was nail biting stuff. Still it was a great performance and the three points were deserved, must be our lucky ground.  Well done boys, bring on Millwall.

Loved that. Not least because I used to work with an utter manual manipulator who is a Fulham ST holder.

Have that Pat! You scrawny, uptight, incompetent ****!

same here - another fan that's worked with an almost Satanic Fulham fan. It doesn't get sweeter.

The guy clearly wasn’t being racist, why don’t you **** off and take your offence elsewhere?

There is a saying “The manners do maketh the man. Nothing worse or more unbecoming than a man with poor manners” There is no need to be offensive just because you disagree with someone’s opinion

Calling a black guy black is forbidden now? Even when you’re complimenting him??

Calling a black guy a black guy isn’t racist just like calling a white guy a white guy isn't. This world is full of idiots these days. People are looking to pull people up for f up k all these days.

Great result today.

When it is necessary to describe someone’s colour for purposes of identification there is no problem. When someone is just called “black” for no reason then it can be a problem. An example is the case, from a few years ago, when John Terry called Anton Ferdinand a “******* black ****” and was charged by the FA for racially abusing QPR defender. He was fined £220k and banned for 4 matches. If he had just called him a “******* ****” he would have been OK! Like it or not, that’s how it is.

PS  - great result so let’s focus on that.

That had occurred to me! I'm working mid-week - so will miss the thrashing of Millwall...but I'm planning to be at what will probably now be a bore-fest against Blackburn...sorry!

You must be having a bad day. WERE you watching the gas having a win

In the JT example, the “black” is part of an insult, so is intended to be insulting. In this case the “black” is part of a compliment. So the comparison is not on point. At all.

Fulham will complain about the ref but they also benefited from a soft/poor ref plenty of times

e.g. Knockaerts kick on Eliason was an absolute cheap shot and nowhere near the ball - He should have seen red, his intention seemed to be simply to kick Eliasson as he was frustrated.

And near the start of the game HNM was pushed off the pitch (possibly helped there by a secondary nudge) into/near the technical area and landed badly. Easy yellow, but the ref played on (fine) and gave nothing when the ball went dead.

Any comments re: Joe Bryan today?

Only from a radio Brizzle perspective, seem to be on the ball a lot ?  look forward to hearing comments from those who were their but one caller (John) said he was booed.  In relation to radio Brizzle and Twentystone honestly believe they put on a good commentary and Owers gets really involved. His anguished cry when he thought they had a dead cert pen at the end !   Even he concurred it was a stonewalled penalty  ?
