gornagain
Early in the season we conceded a goal when Taylor Moore tried to stop a through ball to an offside player who was then deemed to be onside because of Moore's interference. Against Huddersfield Famara Diédhiou was offside but their goalkeeper parried a shot to him and he scored. Disallowed offside. Can any of the experts explain the difference? Sorry the Fulham game is not up on the site yet so I watched a bit of Huddersfield.
cidercity1987
'A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately plays the ball (except from a deliberate save by anyopponent) is not considered to have gained an advantage.' Lanterne Rouge
So should Aiden O`Brien`s equalizer for Millwall on Friday been disallowed then? The keeper parried his original shot out to him and I`m sure there were no other defenders playing him onside.
Alex_BCFC
Fammy was offside for the Huddersfield one - that was clear cut. Not so sure about the Boro one.
