I agree redsocks, but money doesn't grow on trees (Unless your name is Jeremy Corbyn).
BarnzFM
Hang on, we’re conceding left right and centre, our goals for is comparable to anyone but the top 2 and you’re insistent that we need this mythical goal scorer? Look at how many we’ve conceded against how many the others around us have conceded - that’s the problem
wendyredredrobin
A lot has been spent on Kalas, Palmer and DaSilva plus Afobe's loan fee can't have been cheap. Our wage bill must be getting quite large and whilst paying £10m for a striker is one thing, paying him 40 grand a week for the next 3 years is another. I want a proper striker up front as much as the rest and hope we can bring in an improvement, but financially, we have to be realistic.

It would give us a focal point up front, making the build up play more deliberate and less likely to break down. Regardless of how many goals we have scored, a danger man up front is a key component part to any successful team, and we currently don't have that. When we have all the components of a balanced side, only the coaching can be culpable.

We have players like Adelakun, Watkins and Wright who don’t look like making the first team on a regular basis .There’s probably 40k in wages there . There are others like Szmodics, Semenyo and Bakinson who could go out on loan .
