Best and worst ever player for City

Recommended Posts

Who do you think is the best ever player to play for City? Just to explain what I mean, I mean not necessarily including City. Like for Manchester United the answer isn’t necessarily Cristiano Ronaldo, you could argue Ryan Giggs. But the best ever player to play for United IS Ronaldo. If you see what I mean.

worst player is obviously exclusive to City

Gerard Lavin or Nicky Hunt surely have to be worse?

Honestly don’t think so but run him close, who could forget Ashton Gate almost raising as one and cheering when Dyche was substituted, never saw that before or since

I don’t understand, sorry.

But the answer is Gerry Gow.

I always thought Souness was Liverpool's equivalent to Gerry, hard as nails but also possessed great skill, couldn't stand Pool though!

Was anyone really better than big John (although I never saw him play)

Worst any one from Gus Ceaser, Sean Dyche, Jason Cundy

My personal best Gerry Gow.

Bas savage, Carl Hutchings, Ian Baird, that bloke we signed after a good loan spell in midfield during Danny Wilson days... Forget his name.. Tony Dinning.

Anyway you'd struggle to beat them for crapness.

Although Andy Cole is probably the best in absolute terms, I'm going to vote for Tammy because he was everything you want from a young loan player and probably single-handedly kept us up.

Worst, where, well do you start?  I'll go for Patrick Agyemang, although there are dozens of names that could be in his place.

In a way, but I'm cheekily putting Tammy in his place. TA also doesn't seem to have forgotten his City years - as yet, at any rate.
