Bristol City reject a bit harsh, Bristolian that came through our academy, at the tail end of his career.

I call everyone that leaves City a reject. The minute they walk out AG, they are a reject. Just a little joke.

He's a big City fan, and from a match going City supporting family iirc.

He'll likely be back in the stands at AG in the future as a fan.

More than can be said for most former City players, even Bristolians, who seem to be Liverpool, Arsenal etc. fans at heart.

Palmer and Eliasson in same team.

Can see it now...us hammering Shrews, then calls for both to play in Championship.?

The strong line up I suspected, if not predicted.

Famara leads the line. The guy everyone says Eliasson must play with (despite only ever once assisting a goal for him) and the same Famara that people seem to think is Palmer's kryptonite. Intriguing.

Congratulations to him..

The first of many times I'm sure wearing the armband - probably not with us.

Sounds like your pre match beer is half empty, sir.

I've heard people on here saying that, can't remember LJ saying it though ?

Happy to be corrected.

I don't see any reason at all why they can't be in the same team.

Against weak opposition yes, but imagine us out of possession against Leeds or Brentford with both of them playing?

No doubt he will be on Radio Bristol like Chris Honor, Gary Owers etc. as co commentator, one day.

Have to say that a front four of Eliasson, Palmer, Watkins and Famara seems...muddled? Not sure what the right word is but I can't see what the plan is there. Seems a little bit like lobbing an awful lot of mud at the wall in the hope that something sticks.

Happy to be proved wrong in an hour's time.
