FA Cup 4th Round Draw: City or Shrewsbury v Liverpool (Live on BBC1)

Tbh. Id rather we not face Liverpool.

On our current form and how we're playing we'd lose to a record cricket score, nevermind football.

Couldn’t care less and the very  last thing we need

I don’t think the team will see it that way, and neither will the majority of the fans.

It will be one of those moments we look back on “if we’d have beaten Shrewsbury we could have played Liverpool moments “ 😀

Maybe, Salah & Firmino against our defence - ffs what a joke

It will be their kids. Actually a half decent chance of causing an upset if we get through.

Well if getting Liverpool isn’t an incentive to turn it up a few notches and show up against Shrewsbury I don’t know what is. Trouble is the Shews will feel the same, and more. Got to be a TV game surely so no 3pm Saturday for us?

That draw process was the most exciting part of the season so far... I was hoping for The Gas at hone but sadly that was scuppered near the end... We end up with Liverpool, bet some of our 'no shows' on Saturday wished they'd turned up now...

The prize is in the lap of the Gods now anything can and probably will happen in the replay!

Bah, lets just (start to) concentrate on the League eh?  … 😉

it won’t be Saturday, unlikely to be Friday night due to short turnaround.

Sunday I’m in Brum for Flyers BBL Cup final.

Arghhhhhhhh!

Could be Monday night game......hopefully.

Could it be as good as 1994?!?

Tbh I think a power cut might be the final straw...

Great draw though. Woohoo!

Assuming that we don't make a pigs ear of the replay we have something exciting to look forward to.

Where's that "electrician" these days?

Just about to post similar. Don't think we've had an incident like that since!

Get spanked by their under 16’s!

If he didn’t go full strength vs Everton then no chance of them playing against us, should we beat Shrewsbury of course.

They have wolves on thurs 23rd and west ham on the weds 29th so i would expect a side similar to yesterday

Just don't be Sunday I'm on last day of my FA level 1 course at Oakland's park.

It won't be Saturday so Friday evening would be good or Monday for me!

I imagine a big crowd at Shrewsbury for this fixture. The revenue from a cup match with liverpool would benefit them massively as it would us of course.

Bit worried that if and it's a big if we beat Shrewsbury we are going to get ripped apart and humiliated by Liverpool kids team which did so well against Everton

Rubbish, this is a massive incentive for the players to raise their game

That's Johnsons job. Shouldnt need a chance to swap shirts with Salah to put a shift in.
