I guess that's based on how many we took to Man City? Which we sold out or almost sold out? Man City and the Etihad do not have the history and tradition that Liverpool do, the Etihad doesn't exactly have the same pull as Anfield. I imagine we also dont have many Man City fans as our fans, its undeniable that we do have many Liverpool fans as our fans. Apart from Man City, when was the last time we played the Champions elect? The current European and world champions? Away from home? That would be a once in a generation game for us.

elhombrecito
I was dubious that we would sell out the Man CIty game, but I was proved very wrong, with the tickets barely making general sale. Our first game at Anfield for 26 years would undoubtably sell out. However... I'm still less than confident that we will beat Shrewsbury, let alone secure a draw against the best team in the country (and probably Europe/the world), so I think we can save this argument for another day!
