Any regular on OTIB will know that while fans are generally extremely positive about the “new “ stadium, there are a few areas of negativity.
One, without doubt is the current club shop. Most of us feel that the premises are too small and cramped (the shape makes it feel like an afterthought) and the management (particularly stocking) is disappointing.
So, questions:
1 Does the management recognise that the current premises are inadequate? Is there, perhaps, a plan to upgrade these within the plans to extend into the adjoining land while building the basketball arena etc?
2 Does the club recognise that fans are disappointed with stocking arrangements? In particular that popular items and sizes are often “out of stock” at key selling times, and that the range of items is very limited and unimaginative? Are improvements being planned?
