WhistleHappy
Lunchtime today BBC Bargain Hunt... One of todays Auction Items was a suitcase full of sporting memorabilia... Evening Post / Green Un features... Old Ashton Gate City Programmes... City vs Swindon Town (1/- Inc football league review), Cup games vs Spurs, away games etc.. Various from Mid Seventies and earlier.. The whole job lot was bought for £35 and auctioned for ??? What did it make? … profit or loss? What do you think? (* matches attended by myself in my yoof! had a few of these programmes too)

Leveller
This sort of lot would be very unlikely to reach £35 I'd say - unless it was a nice antique suitcase! £15?

Red-Robbo
They were selling it in Malvern. On a high road to nothing, up there. I reckon they'd have got their £35 if it was sold in a Bristol auction room.
WhistleHappy
£15 loss... Sold for Twenty Quid. Brought back a few memories seeing those matchday mags again though, last thing I expected to pop up on the screen as I turned on the telly. Never to the dark side
Thanks to every one for your thoughts,I didn't buy them. Would have been annoyed if they had loads of 1960s/1970's Green Uns.
