Unan
So our head coach has taken a lot of flack recently, rightly or wrongly, but my question isn't about our head coach, it's about the other 2. Holden & Macca, they've seemed to avoid any blame entirely. What are your views? Are they equally to blame? Are they the problem? Is it nothing to do with them? Thoughts? Davefevs
I’d like someone outside the group to come in. Holden with Dean at Oldham, Macca of course a team mate. But then again you do need to people you can trust. we don’t know how much they challenge Lee though. To say they are yes men would be pure speculation on my part. Harry
Macca was indeed a team mate but they are not ‘mate’ mates. They don’t socialise together. Their relationship is purely a footballing one. I wouldn’t say they are here as yes men. They’re not mates who’ll do anything to cover for their buddy. Wrongagain
Can’t really tell from watching what either of them contribute, but they are really good seconds when the gaffer loses his rag
Red Exile
All three of them are very inexperienced. This is a tough league. Naturally they are all gaining experience as they go along but I'd question how likely it is that they are going to succeed. LJ is the boss and appears to have selected them. Not what a side with Prem ambitions needs...in my opinion. But good luck to them.
Oops
Possibly the worst thread title in the history of OTIB but ok, I’ll bite. Who knows? Perhaps someone has a PowerPoint presentation to explain how the bench works and where we’re not performing? Is Dean not shouting “AY.....AAAY....AAAAAAAY” randomly enough? Are there fewer hand gestures used than the average championship team per 90 minutes? It’s a mind numbingly interesting question

His dad was a manager and he's travelled over Europe learning the game. Holden has had about six years as an assistant/coach. Mcallister has been coaching for ten years. Inexperience at a good level, I'll grant you.
