The problem with the modern fan is the sheer unrealistic expectations of manager appointments and player signings.  Makes me laugh.

Why should it be unrealistic ?

He is a top coach who may just find himself out of work and would be a great fit for City .

SL could save himself a fortune paying a coach of his calibre instead of buying two or three bang average Championship players .

Doubtful that he ever would but we live in hope .

He hired a top coach for the Bears .

Because if Howe left his club there would be lots of teams bigger than us that would want him

Maybe its me but I think he's a total fraud.

Harsh perhaps, but he does tend to preside over long bad runs, around the same time every season. The only reason he is not known as Streaky Eddie is that it only seems to have been noticed this season for some reason.

Of course there would be and what a change that would be , how many ‘ teams bigger than us ‘ have been after any of our recent coaches ?

We may not be the biggest club after Howe , if he were to leave Bournemouth , but we must be a very attractive prospect for any ambitious coach who fancies the chance to make himself a hero , with a fantastic, patient , owner supporting him and a huge potential.

Also , for once , geographically speaking , it could be good for us .

We are a progressive club .

Not sure how Howe would get on having to play by the FPP rules.

In contrast, how good could Johnson do if he was allowed to blow through the budget on wages, by a foreign owner who didn’t give a fig providing we were up by the time the EFL could do anything about it.

He has already done the hero bit and if he is ambitious he is not likely to want to take a step down. Which is what it would be, however progressive we are.

My guess is that he would do a Dyche so to speak and still be at Bournemouth if they go down.

You mean they are not a plucky little club who did it all on a shoestring? Why wasn't I told?!

Would love  to see him replace Clueless. Has done a miraculous job at Bournemouth. Commands respect, talks sense and knows how to set up sides dependent on opposition. He would get this team in to the play offs IMO. He would get the best out of players.
If sacked, he will end up at a bigger club than us though.
