Nahki Wells - SIGNING CONFIRMED

Good signing to get over the line.  Not the ideal age and expensive but definite quality and match sharp - will get goals.

I'd see this being an opportunity to get Palmer into the side and give Fam a rest.

Something like this:

.......................Bentley.........................

Hunt........Williams...Baker......Dasilva

................Smith.......Massengo...........

Paterson........Palmer...........Elliasson

......................Wells..............................

Start trying to play with movement and passing instead of direct.

Good team but would struggle at defending corners

I’d argue that by signing a proven and in form Championship striker that City have strengthened the squad.
According to Ashton there could well be more incoming tomorrow......

Yeh but you’ve been totally against that and have fallen in behind SL’s strategy for years - don’t try and and insinuate that you agree with signing older, proven geezers now ...

That’s my first choice team right there and it excites me greatly!

Incredible to think we have signed a striker with the best goals to minutes ratio out of the top scorers in the Championship so far this season, and also mid season in the January transfer window,  for a relatively decent fee, brilliant signing.

Oh no, Nakhi Wells has never impressed ‘leadman’ from OTIB. Better call off the deal!

?

and can you be specific, in what game or games against Bristol city where he ripped us apart,.

when your ready, thanks.

8 games 2 goals and 1 assist, his is record.

5 games 3 goals Vs QPR though

Some reservations about his age, wage length of contract and the only 4 month purple spell after 3 seasons of nothing that has brought him here. However probably the best we could get at this stage.

What I love the most though is the QPR fans meltdown, we are finally pulling our weight against these clubs with somewhere approaching half the fans.

Chuffed as buggery over this, sad we lost Josh, but like with Kelly, Reid & Bryan i love them so much I could never but wish the best for their futures.
