I know what you mean but I was just shocked by how low the numbers were and the lack of midfielders.

reddogkev
Amazing to think that Flint scored so many goals. Didn't Kodjia score more than 20 goals? I'm sure I remember him hitting at least 21.

I bet if we went back to the 1970s and compared the big cheese and John Galley with the last ten years I think it will show those two super stars scored per match. Not sure they are accurate, but they aren’t wildly out - comparing them to Aguero’s record at Man City isn’t really fair either considering the number of games he’s played for Man City and the players with whom he’s played ... 9 hours ago, ziderheadarmy said: Shockingly bad numbers though don’t you think? Midfielders that have been with us for 6 or 7 or even 8 seasons haven’t managed to make the list. Just 20 goals in that period would have seen them make it. That’s not good is it? We have had midfielders with a comparable record to him in that decade. Tomlin's goal ratio was better than his, Albert's is worse but after he left us he went on to score at a higher rate, even Marvin Elliott's record in the 2010s is decent for us. Most of the midfielder's you're talking about that have stayed with us for a long time you wouldn't expect to beat Flint's numbers, he scored 15 goals in one season. That says more about how good he was at scoring that it does about others being bad.

ExiledAjax
If Fam stays this summer, stays fit, and doesn't "spit" on anyone else then he'll get to 50 next season. Should be on at least 40 by the end of this season
