FA Cup tie v Boro at home in 2007.

They went 2-0 up, prompting chants of "That's why we're Premiership" from them in the first half.

We fought back to 2-2, prompting chants of "Premiership, you're having a laugh" from us in the second half.

Comedy gold!

To the tune of Camptown Races.

Who's that **** with the helmet on?

Dixon,  Dixon.

Who's that **** with the helmet on?

Dixon of Dock Green!

On the beat all day,

On the wife all night,

Who's that **** with the helmet on?

Dixon of Dock Green!

Sometimes they would smile and give a little wave, but it was usually a scowl!

Fair made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up that did.

Aww the good old days. I remember hordes of us roaming the streets of places like York, chanting Burrrrrrrrrrristawl.

Yeah, that's where we are from folks

We are bumpkins, but hard, menacing bumpkins

‘You’re going in the river’ always made me smile when I was young.

Does anybody if any poor soul did go in the river?

Also there was a song about Paul Randall which in these more enlightened times would never be sung.Great fun hearing it though when a young teenager in the middle of a packed East End.
