old_eastender
Actually best all time song has to be from the City v Rovers Derby, March 1991. I was in the old East End singing "Holloway, Holloway, ollie, ollie, way, he gets the ball he does *uck all, ollie, ollie, way", in a game which we were far the better side but it was still 0-0. 10 mins from time Rovers get a pen, and Holloway steps up to take it, we are fearing he is going to have the last laugh..., but the penalty is weak and comfortably saved. Que that song being repeated loud and clear and then to cap it off we get the winner 2 mins from time... magic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUg7GQLa7A4

AppyDAZE
I remember hearing "You're gonna get your ******* heads kicked in" the second the away side had the audacity to score a goal. 'if you're standing on a corner with a blue scarf round your neck, City boys will come and get you, and we'll break your f****** neck' In the old (standing) East End, anyone else remember doing the 'ma nah me nah' song from the Muppets? Or is it just me? Silence in the crowd and a simple 'Brrrriiiistol' chant (one of my fondest memories in the EE starting chants....) Was watching some of 1998/99 season 'highlights' the other day...was a very poor season but a eventful one- and I heard this chant a few times on there, probably quite isolated though and the last vestiges but it featured a few times. Sure that in recent years the old chants referred to on this thread have got an airing or a minor one at times. Talking last 10 years, bit longer. Anthemic, stirring - and free from references to the Gas and/or violence. Sadly the the song variety seems to be waning in AG these days.
