Would we have done a Hull and come straight back down or would SL have invested heaviliy and we would be a Burnley or Bournemouth? That must go down as the most pivotal game in our history. I see it every night in my sleep... think it may be time to get some therapy I shared a pint or two with Windass a year or so back, lovely guy who cares deeply about football and about disadvantaged people. I think Milne may have missed 1. Don't remember the pens at all, are you sure it wasn't decided on the toss of a coin? Wasn't too bothered at the time, still celebrating the unlikely 2-0. Not sure it would have helped playing at home anyway, don't forget Walsall had already beaten us 3-1 at the Gate in the first game. Kelly loved playing at AG too.
