BigAl&Toby
So we’ve got our tickets. Now need to get there. 2 of us from Frome. Any spare seats? Happy to chip in for petrol and meet up en route. Train seems to be £130+. Christ alive..... Suggestions welcome. Ta
SR1
You can do it for around £80 with Split Ticketing. Still a lot but a saving. Obviously even less if you have a railcard of some sort. https://splitticketing.trainsplit.com/ Cheapest I could find was around £70 leaving at 7am and going back at 6.11pm. 4 hours each way

I've not used it and reviews seem hit and miss but worth a go maybe. https://tickets.bristol-sport.co.uk/categories/bristolcityfcaway

Hi Jerry, How come with Ticket sales being nowhere near capacity of allocation, it’s sold out on the coaches already..? It often seems to be the case. Surely better provision of coach spaces would make away games more accessible to people..? I get not wanting several empty coaches, but surely having another laid on as soon as the last one is full, makes sense. Especially over a week prior to the fixture. BarneyCity
If you are looking at train prices - first thing is to use the split ticketing option mentioned earlier in the tread, which can give big savings. Secondly if you regularly travel to away games, (or any other rail travel) with the same regular companion (friend / partner etc), then for 30 pounds you can get a 'two together' railcard which gives an extra 30% off lots of fares. I think for Bristol - Leeds Return this got down the price to 54 pounds each.
