I haven't bought a replica shirt for about ten years (when we still were supplied by Adidas) - but can we have one of these beauts as a training top please?

The badge is not right though is it? So it's a no.

Looks at the prices of these shirts!!! Jesus!!!!

I do not think JL needs to give us any spin... he tries very hard to make it sound like this is a natural progression, i.e. dumping the club's own brand for a long established one. Sometimes a bit of straight talking goes down far better Jon... Here is what you should have said..

"We just felt bad the number of complaints we got with the quality of our own label and no matter how much we paid the sweat shops in Dacca and with endless amounts of cajoling and material changes we always ended up with customers complaining of chafed arms and legs and sweaty groins. So we said to ourselves fk it we throw the towel in and stop this nonsense and sell a quality product. After all 45 quid is indeed a massive rip off even for a quality product so at least we feel better now".

Wow, thanks Jon... I will buy a Hummel shirt like a true disciple. Fair play to you.

Apparently Hummel don’t do women’s fits, so our ladies team will just be wearing XS men’s sizes next season. Seems a little bit poor.

"Apparently", so not 100% factual.

*Could be poor.

Are Hummel doing the women’s team kits too?

They have women’s football jerseys on their website?

That 2nd shirt is gorgeous.

All of them are smart.

Granted, there will be those who have a default setting of 'moan' but if that is the sort of thing they are looking at putting out, I can see them selling in strong numbers.

I'm sure I read recently that City were bringing the purple and lime back next season.

Nice concept designs though.

I like them all, not sure about the off-centre strip on the black shirt though. I wouldn't mind a bit of something on the shoulders of the red one. Nice and simple.

I love that kit design. Check out Lazio's 2nd this season. https://cdn.footyheadlines.com/amp/4303576410535960058

Imagine that for City...white shirt, black and red off centre stripe, black shorts, red white and black socks 😉

It looks ok, I wouldn't write to JL to complain if we did have it but I'm just not a great fan of off-centre vertical stripes. I prefer a plainer shirt. :city:(no white stripe on the chest with bloody DUNDER on it either :argh::redcard:)

"And ahead of the new kits coming out in the summer, we turned to concept kit expert  Request A Kit (aka Jack Beale) to show us what the kits could look like."

Whoever Jack is, he has ignored the news from BCFC that Purple and Lime will be a kit next year.

Bearing in mind Jack doesn't even work for Hummel, the BP could've contacted anyone to design a kit.

I like all 3.

The third strip is nice, wish it was more ‘hire-ite’ that would be a nice nod to the past.

Ill be amazed of the club will do any better than these ‘concepts’

Arrows On The Arms.

In addition to being a Hummel thing, it also sounds like a great name for a hipster pub, specialising in craft ales from a microbrewery.

This has been posted now.

Would imagine it would be very popular if it was produced.

BRob, why didn't Bristol Post contact you? Now that's what I call a concept kit!

I'm guessing because I have nothing to do with kit design!

It was posted in reply to a Bristol Post tweet.

Interesting how the Post’s expert designer forgot to add any arrows to a Hummel kit!

anyone know whether Hummel are making the rugby lot’s kit? They made GB and England’s recent rugby league kits.

Umbro are doing the Bears kits it seems. They're also doing England next year too I think.

This was my thought when Hummel were announced. Could’ve gone to any provider but they’ve gone to one who cater for all sports. Giving us the freedom of design I imagine means all brands of Bristol Sport will be manufactured by Hummel

Doesn't look like it. Widely reported that Umbro will be making the Bears kit, and I believe the Flyers kit is made by Kappa (as are all kits in the BBL).

The key question here is..... do they do beanies for Xmas?

If the answer is ‘yes’, I’m in.

Very impressed by the mock up kits, has to be said.

Going to miss our logo though.... rather like its ‘uniqueness’. The Hummel logo is a bit OTT and is going to look particularly odd, like twin Bears, on the rugger shirts.

Are they also making the polo shirts and other city sportswear next season.i hope so as the bristol sport clothing this year has been rubbish.

TBF some of the tops are close to being very nice. The track tops look smart, until you see the fuckoff Robin on the back

I made this Hummel design today, mainly because I was curious to see what a Hummel kit with a lot of our elements would look like.

And with the fantastic Purple n Lime kit already on this thread, Hummel don't need to do any designing.....just make them!

I like that - is it based on Bayern`s kit? It looks very like it.

It's a combination our 1983 Umbro kit with the Hummels Chevrons replacing the umbro design and our pin stripes and collar from 1986 but changed to a red on red for the shirt. The rest is just modernised and small details added such as the 1894 on the sleeves and the suspension bridge with Bristol Sports logo over it.

I took inspiration from our traditional kits and basically modernised it.

I'd be buying one of these.

Could you do a Purple and Lime version, with the chevron panel being Lime with white chevrons?

I did create a purple and lime one based on the original but modernised:
