MelksRed
Why is AG not an impregnable fortress? What, in your opinion, has caused this bad home form this season? pl00peh91
We are not a possession based team, yet we are forced to try to be at home and we are terrible at it.

Why? We had no pace on the field and couldn’t pass except in five yard triangles (poorly) as there was no runners to hit. I. Agree with the thrust but today we neither possession based or counter attacking just pony!!

Xiled
We don't score goals through clever interplay. We don't score goals with long balls. We don't score goals by out-muscling the opposition. We don't score goals on the break. I've no idea how we actually score goals. That's why it's so hard to watch at home. CotswoldRed
We clearly don't coach retaining the ball under pressure. If we do, the players probably have their headphones on at all times.

I think there might also be a self-fulfilling prophecy aspect to it as well. We’ve been unconvincing at home for so long now I sense as fans we approach home games not with optimism, but with trepidation. I suspect that might be the case for the players too. It’s become a noose around our necks. I’ve flipped-flopped either side of the LJ-out line a lot recently but I’m not sure we’re ever going to break free of our problems at home without the fresh start of a new manager. RoystonFoote'snephew
Teams that hold their width at AG always cause us problems as out two in midfield get stretched.
Rossi the Robin
Teams sit in and because we are set up as a counter attacking team (apparently) means we haven’t got a clue and no plan B apart from going long
