It's really, really simple.

Bentley in goal, four at the back.  Not really bothered who, they are all mostly good enough, the key thing is they have to be the same four every week.  They need to have defence as their first job.

Then we need two midfielders from Nagy, Smith, Henriksen, Massengo - where at least one of these two protects the back four - and one just ahead of them with freedom to roam - Palmer.

Two wide players - Eliasson and Patterson.  Wells up front.

Off the ball focus on pressing and closing down in pairs and triples when sensible like we did a year or more ago.  On the ball focus on getting into space and letting pace count and moving the ball quickly.

Plan B is to bring Weiman on for a midfielder and close down harder and stretch it.

Plan C is to bring Diedhiou on and lump it aimlessly.

At the moment we start with plan C.

How dare you have three sets of well considered, yet easy to implement tactics! What will the players get confused about now?

We have been in a false position in the Championship for a long time. This is just another unacceptable performance. Johnson has lost the changing room a long time ago. He will be gone in the summer.

Don’t think he has lost the changing room at all - 4 x fighting 1-0 wins on the spin recently tell you he hasnt - he just isn’t getting the most out of a clearly talented bunch of players.

Wells must be wondering what a great career move this has been, free scoring in a “poor” QPR side and player of the month to this utterly dire football, can’t use the top 2 excuse today either.

I suspect he might well of been having several lengthy conversations with his agent on the benefit of this move......
