Forest v Millwal worth a look?

Recommended Posts

Looking at the next two sets of fixtures, ai reckon the top 6 is going to break away from the teams 8th to 11th. That prediction is based on Gorest winning tonight, WBA beating Swansea and Preston finding form, among other expectations. How naive of me to think you can make predictions...

Millwall are so good at what they do. High pressure, ratty, pacey players!

Makes our result last week look more impressive?

Hope the boys are watching and take confidence from the result at The Den into tomorrow

I hope the rest of your predictions go as well as tonight's is.

Ah Millwall the side we drew with away from home and some on here had a tantrum

Behave. More the fact we couldn't muster two passes. But offcourse you knew that and was just looking for a reaction.

The Wall have been singing that there's only one Gary Rowett. Pity as we could've nabbed the other one.

Didn’t make 2 passes and still got a point. Impressive

If you were an Under 9s team and not a team of professionals

Forest having a shocker, but still 4th in the table and fans booed em off at half time - Jeez I think our fans expectations get away from us at times but that is taking the piss in my opinion.

Based on this performance, we might even beat Notts at their place.

Some members of this forum complained that City could only draw at Millwall.

This is the Championship summed up. Tonight Forest, who are higher than City are losing 3-0 at home to Millwall.

You were quite careful not to mention City Mozo or are we in that breakaway pack. Seems to me more likely no man's land again.

Yes, intentional. Turns out I'm an idiot for speculating though!

Just wait for him to sack Millwall off as soon as a bigger job becomes available

Thought it before and think it now.

We're not much behind Forest. WBA, Leeds, Brentford and on their day Fulham all better- but can we truly say it about Nottingham Forest. Think top 4 are sorted but that aside, it's still alive.

Like watching Millwall  " Do you like a tackle son?"  "No"   "On your way "

Organisation and shape excellent

Excellent at doing the ugly and unglamorous stuff

And A team of players ‘not wanted ‘ elsewhere - fair play

Rowett is a quality manager IMO. Knows how to set a team up to play a system. Millwall are a dark horse for the playoffs IMO. Hard to beat at home and capable of a result against anyone away.

Yeah brave all over the pitch. Limited in certain ways.

2nd half no possession, and at no time did they look like conceding. Talk about playing to your strengths !!

Eliasson to Matt Smith

Shit, stop it! Don't do this to yourself ffs

Similarly, I still think if duric had been about last season we would of got playoffs. The amount of extra points we might have got chucking him on last ten when chasing a game could have been the difference.

What ifs eh.
