Ex players, very poor

Go to solution Solved by JerrySLO,

Question

Without doubt across the whole fan base Saturdays club display of ex players on this historic day was an insult to the players and fans who had hoped for a much better effort from the club. Can I ask why they were not announced one at a time and appluaded on to the pitch/centre circle? where all the fans could see and applaud them. Surely more time should have been given to this, a huddle in the corner was not the way to go.

Logistically it wasn't possible to introduce each player individually due to the time constraints, if we'd have started the parade earlier ex players would potentially have come out into a virtually empty stadium.  In hindsight the players families could have taken their seats first and just the ex players come around the pitch but I understand that the ex players wanted it that way.

We had to liaise with Sky TV and our timing had literally to be to the minute.

The feedback received from the ex players was that they all enjoyed a great day, a decent game of football and top hospitality.
