Thread is just about PL but good news.

EFL will only need to rebate Sky £7m and have 10 extra Championship games next season- bit of a coup all things considered?

Something tells me Harvey wouldn't have pulled it off- indeed the repayment is over 3 years so not bad at all!

PL rebate of £170m deferred until the 2020/21, so do the clubs in the division this year pay it or any team who wins promotion next season is unlucky and has to help fork out?

Yep, good point- read 2021/22, but anyway it's deferred whether it's 2020/21 or 2021/22.

I wonder if clubs in receipt of parachute payments maybe affected, have to pay back a %, to chip into the overall rebate. Would only be fair IMO...

It would have to be the current ones surely - they`re the ones that have signed up to it.

Bit of a bugger if we went up and immediately had to front up a load of cash to Sky - 7th anyone and wait till next season?
