J-mat
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ye_Weichao Random Question, but anyone know this guys story? I am a season in to a City FM save where I can only use club trained players, (the return of Bobby, Joe, Rolando, Herbie, Maddox and Cole Skuse are my only signings) and thus fella, Ye Weichao cropped up as a Chinese youth player in the mid 00s. Odd one.
Admin phantom Posted March 27, 2020 Admin Report Share Posted March 27, 2020 Never heard of him, am sure with his background etc his name would have been common knowledge (Remember Wiki can be edited by anyone)
Gazred
He would of been what, 16 in 05-06. Certainly don't remember him, perhaps a trialist in that season?

Eddie Hitler
Here's another source: Ye Weichao was born on 18 February 1989 in Guangzhou, China. The player’s football career started in Guangzhou Evergrande. Weichao was a product of its youth system, and in 2005 he began playing for different youth teams of the club. In 2005 the footballer was sent on loan to English side Bristol City where he spent a year playing for its youth squad. http://www.footballtop.com/players/ye-weichao Maybe we were trying to get a link up with a Chinese club; there was a fair bit of this going on in the 2000s. Plymouth were trying to get a Japanese link up at one point. It was thought a good way to attract international investment.

We supposedly had a link with Inter Milan at some point in the late 90s although I don't think we ever got any benefit from it.
