Bristol Sport or Hummell for the rest of 19/20

Along with many other contractual things this is a weird one. Doesn't make the world of difference for us but might do for other teams.

Eg, Sunderland changing from Adidas to Nike, they have an Adidas kit but only have the rights to wear it until June, next season they have a Nike kit, but they haven't begun to make them yet.

One of the pluses for making our own kits.

Nike have given New Balance and Liverpool special permission to allow them to carry on wearing their 19/20 kit when the season resumes. Contractually Nike would have every right to force Liverpool into wearing their kit.

If Sunderland struggle, they can go to Sports Direct or any similar shop to get the plain 'training top' template in the meantime ?

Probs 3 for £15 so plenty cheap enough...

Depends on the wording in the contract, if its date based then we may be needing to switch upon start date to get the money from Hummel which we'd need, if its seasonal based we may choose to switch anyway for the reason of income from Hummel and BS respectively.

I think in the current climate any sponsor expecting their new designs to be used would get very negative press so can't see any expecting their designs etc to be used until the current season is complete

That would be where the advantage lies for us, we probably wouldn't lose much/anything by taking on Hummel straight away, if anything we'd have a greater source of income to keep paying with

With there being a lockdown in many places around the world it’s probably unlikely new manufacturers would have the new kits available in time anyway

Depends how many employees you need on site, how much machine work is involved with the process etc, also they're Danish aren't they? I know they have a British branch but Denmark has had a very low rate hasn't it? Anyone know if Denmark is on lockdown?
