That means I've got to think of something now. I may be gone some time.

Spudski? Didn't he take a sabbatical from here a couple of years back?

Ok, I know it wasn't a real clue but if Nogs can guess!

A question on an OTIB member's favourite City things, mine.

Going through my old programmes the other day reminded me that the anniversary of my favourite ever away game is almost upon us.

The league position of the opposition suggested they weren't very good but one of their full backs ended up playing 22 times for England

What was the game and who was the player?

I just asked Miss Google and she told me Lee played 458 times for Arsenal.

Chester City was Lee's second pro team, having played 4 times for Burnley. We played them when Terry was player-Manager. All the clues fit!

Yes, what a day that was. It meant so much to everyone at the club but especially to me, I'd become a full time supporter after passing my test at 17 and able to drive from West Somerset and all I'd  seen was relegation and liquidation.

We were back, not only had we survived but we had won promotion after being the first club to fall from top to bottom.

I had forgotten about Lee Dixon to be fair
