After the initial two weeks it will be reviewed every week, so fingers crossed.

 good luck. Cant see this government doing much to ease restrictions anywhere but to be "kind" for a few days over Christmas.  This is a rebranded lockdown. Nothing will be happening for a long while

The question is still the same - is it an unfair advantage?

I think all players would rather some fans in than none.

There's advantages and disadvantages in all things. Should some pubs open and not others, for example.

I couldn't be unhappy with Bournemouth having fans because we couldn't.

So we can't do 'anything' from the 2nd to the 16th of December, but from the 23rd it's absolutely fine to have 12 people in your house, sitting around a table.... explain the 'kin logic in that?!

It’s all gone a bit Trumpy tbh, Boris is “saving” Christmas to placate the braindead morons who didn’t usually vote Tory but did last time.

He’s appealing to the “common muppet” but will only end up killing off a fair few of them, like old carrot face did in the US.

He doesn’t care about us, he cares about money, he cares about staying in power, we’re just collateral damage to ensure he gets his way.

The relaxation of rules over Christmas is going to be catastrophic, you can say “be careful” all you want but he’s given the idiots an inch so they’ll take a mile.

We’re absolutely buggered to be honest, as a City we’ll be lucky to be back in Tier 1 by March at this rate.

Two sides of Harrogates ground is in Tier 3 zone and Two in Tier 2 !!

So they can only use parts of the ground and only have one turnstile not in a Tier 3 zone !

Have just watched the interview on sky sports news that's not what the chairman said at all, he was talking about the red zones of the ground where the players and officials have to sit, those stands have to be closed so no fans can sit in them, one turnstile can't be used as its next to the players entrance so in the red zone, every ground in the country has red zones it's an FA thing, nothing at all to do with lockdown restrictions,

I thought the pandemic was disappearing by March ?

Havnt you been saying you nil cases ?

I said I hoped the info I posted was correct and it will be over by them , I don't understand why so many seam to want it to go on longer,

I am hopeful thought that fans will be back at the gate sooner than that as if this level 3 works Bristol could be a level 2 by some time in January

Bath is getting hit Tone

RUH closed to any visitors

And that ‘Ant’ has manage to fill Bristol Hospitals to capacity

Shit !!

Our lockdown has been revised with non essential shops opening at the weekend. Bars, restaurants etc will stay closed until 20th Jan 2021 and we now have a 9pm to 7am curfew in place until the same date. Still need to complete an attestation for any trips from home.

Netflix getting a good workout !!

Beats the crap out of me TBH. Can't help feeling that it will create another "nasty" afterwards.

Exactly, how can there not be another wave. A bit of mixing and there is a flair up. A lot of mixing, indoors, in the middle of ‘flu season and when people are delighted to be seeing eachother is a recipe for disaster.

As one scientist said, just because you are allowed to do something doesn’t mean you have to. Great advice I think.

Curfew is lifted on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve only (pointless really and should remain).  All other restrictions remain in place. They will be making another announcement on 15th Dec so matter of wait and see what transpires. May not need to complete the attestation after this date. Any changes will depend on numbers of new cases averaging 5000 a day or less. Not sure about others on here who live in France but I do feel safer being here for some reason.

I can assure you that is always kept well in hand.

Ha ha

Thought it would be

Meanwhile Steve Bruce is ‘totally perplexed ‘ why you can have 2000 fans in a L2 stadium whilst you can only have a similar amount in a Ground the size of Newcastle’s stadium when he reckons they could house 20000 socially distanced

Just a thought Steve, it might be to do with you’d have 20000 people travelling to and gathering for the game pre match and post match as opposed to 2000

Jesus wept.....

There seems to be a total lack of honest statistics regarding Covid. Try asking google for the latest info - this mornings top result was a Gov.uk report from June!

I wonder what level bristol would be if the University and college victims were not counted!

I actually live in a council district which has the lowest Covid count in the uk but has been placed in level 2!

No wonder there is no confidence in the clowns in Westminster!

Still quite bad, Bishopsworth has one of the worst infection rates in the country and infections in the over 60’s has also been dramatically increasing.

The Uni stuff, from a pure numbers standpoint was *insane* (Bristol Uni alone had had more cases than NZ), but they weren’t actually spreading the virus around the city, just contained largely within their halls.
