The Government wants to "Protect us"
We've been here before with this game of fear.
We had over a million protesting then too.
And the government were lying. Shock!

In 2003. Tony Blair told the world - Saddam can attack us within 45 minutes. We have to invade Iraq to protect us at home. Millions of lives were lost. All on a LIE.

The truth was Saddam was UNABLE to attack us after years of sanctions. He did not have the capability to launch any sort of attack on us and the Intelligence Services were telling Tony Blair exactly that.

But that didnt stop him trying to scare us, so they could do what they wanted to do.

So how did this benefit Piers Morgan .....Please think..

He didn't get as seriously ill as he would have without the vaccine. He also was much less likely to pass it onto anybody else once he had it.

Are you aware of all the other laws of which the government is trying to pass. None of them made the news by the way...

I am not a fan of this government (that's an understatement!), but public health is different to other things they are and are not doing.

Well thats alright then!! I better do something i dont want too!!

******* hell

Nobody is making you do anything you don't want to.

But as there are lots of us that don't want unvaccinated people spreading the disease around us, you do not get to infringe on our rights by attending sporting events and nightclubs.

You have a choice whether to have it.

But without rules? Nobody else would have the choice of anti-vaxxers sitting next to us.

Most people dont get seriously ill anyway

So? More people get seriously ill from the disease than from the vaccine. You're undermining your own argument.

So why is the Government pushing the passport so hard?

Control?

Control of what? Trying to control the virus and how many people it makes seriously ill and how many it kills and impacts upon NHS resources?  Guessing so. Not the ‘control’ you’re referring to though that’s for sure.

How do you feel about vaccinated people spreading the disease around you?

But a lot less people who have had the vaccine get very ill compared to those that have not had it, how can you not see that? the facts are there for all to see hospital admissions with a similar number of cases are down 90% I mean come on.

It very much seems like most of the World leaders are all on the same page currently, and no one powerful enough who is willing to go against what's being said.

Exactly. You'd think some world leaders would speak out if it was a Conspiracy wouldn't you.

Same as Doctors, other medical experts etc.

Almost as if it's not a conspiracy....

I feel better about those people as they are far less likely to spread it.

Plus they made an effort to protect others, unlike the selfish anti-vaxxers.

Presumably, you're aware that some people can't take the vaccine for medical reasons?

“Do you ask me what you should regard as especially to be avoided? I say, crowds; for as yet you cannot trust yourself to them with safety… To consort with the crowd is harmful; there is no person who does not make some vice attractive to us, or stamp it upon us, or taint us unconsciously therewith. Certainly, the greater the mob with which we mingle, the greater the danger… Much harm is done by a single case of indulgence or greed; the familiar friend, if he be luxurious, weakens and softens us imperceptibly; the neighbor, if he be rich, rouses our covetousness; the companion, if he be slanderous, rubs off some of his rust upon us, even though we be spotless and sincere. What then do you think the effect will be on character, when the world at large assaults it! You must either imitate or loathe the world.”

How?

Jeeze, What's the point of covid  passport?

To make sure only vaccinated people enter crowded areas to help the prevention of spread...

But people are still catching it?

Because vaccines don't stop the spread.

So what's the point of covid passports?

Did my post give the impression that I think medically exempt people are the same as the selfish anti-vaxxers?

Those that are medically exempt are clearly not selfish. They are also the same people that will be trapped at home while the selfish anti-vaxxers make it dangerous for those with medical conditions to go out.

There's one big massive flaw with your argument.

The vaccines do help reduce the spread.

They reduce the spread, not stop it completely.

Not hard to understand.
