Just came across this old video. Any of our older posters at this match? Interesting to see as well how packed the East End was and Ashton Gate before the Dolman stand.

Different times.

I noticed that. I assume it was due to lack of segregation, so Rovers and City supporters were mixed together without fighting each other. Different times indeed

I used to occasionally watch Rovers when I was at school  in the early 60s because the Eastville ground was closer to where I lived. I don’t feel ashamed, as I used to follow the Rovers tradition of getting in without paying. I just followed the masses along the river and got in through a hole in the fence at the Muller Road end.
