Tangle Foot
Some of the comments on here show you simply cannot please everyone! I think it looks decent and the tribute to the 'Ashton Gate Eight' is the icing on the cake. Classy touch in my view. I was very hesitant to buy a kit this season (even though I was given a voucher to use in the club shop - as a birthday gift), but now, having seen it I think I will buy it. COYR. exAtyeoMax
Yeah, I'm being picky but is it possible to buy shirts without the sponsor? The Yeo Valley logo ruins the shirt entirely…

The eight tribute is classy.. when was the last time a major kit manufacturer actually designed something bespoke and meaningful on a shirt for us? How very dare you....are you seriously trying to suggest that BS are not a major kit manufacturer?!? 1 minute ago, Scare_Man said: @JollyestOli might want to consider a change of username Or a change of team.... 1 minute ago, exAtyeoMax said: Yeah, I'm being picky but is it possible to buy shirts without the sponsor? In all seriousness though, you won't get an adults shirt without a sponsor on it. Shirt sponsors pay a lot of money for it to be there.

The basic design is similar to Charlton (and probably a number of other) as its a generic offering from a kit manufacturer, but IMO from afar or not, its totally different to the Charlton version, even the colour. And the detail is very good. I don't see how it could stand out different from afar ? Its a red shirt - plenty of them around. But we all see it differently I suppose and no point in labouring the point.

I'm sure a few years ago a Newcastle player had an unsponsored first team shirt as gambling was against their faith. Not that this has anything to do with the points being discussed, it just reminded me of it. As you were.
redsontour
Very clever use of the international code of signals in the collar to celebrate our sea heritage...
Leveller
I’m impressed. Apart from the sponsor’s logo, I think it’s the best I can remember us having. Plain, simple, classic lines, no overfussy detailing. And the colour - nobody’s mentioned it, but it seems they’ve gone back to scarlet from the rather dull crimson we've seen a lot of. I like a nice bright red myself.

I choose to see it as more of a nod to S82 who tried to do a flag display in a home game against Cardiff but were disrupted by the club.
David Brent
I like it. I also like that the badge looks decent, as opposed to that low res image they used on last seasons shirts.

Major Isewater
I just wonder if we are in regulation with the ‘ 8 ‘ logo on the back ? it might confuse a few defenders when they’re told to mark the number 8 . I like the colour and the kit looks good . Let’s see how it works on fifty year old blokes with their beer bellies.
elhombrecito
Previous years I haven't been able to buy a shirt due to the Small being far too big, and the youth kits having "Robins" on the front... Thankfully this year I will be able to buy one of these beauties:
