JamesBCFC
Ball is 100% over the line. Clearly the refs watch didnt vibrate, but when it was so clear to see the VAR people should have told him to have a look.
Kingswood Robin
I think if it's too far over the line, VAR doesn't work.

RedEd73
Sky reporting that VAR could have over ruled Hawkeye because it was the same passage of play....another VAR fail!
Lrrr
So VAR COULD have overruled that as it was same passage of play, so is it VAR who have screwed up or Michael Oliver himself getting direction from VAR but saying the watch hasn't gone off.... Probably deliberate Don't think VAR does goal line technology, even though they should have the right to step in. I think that duty is left to the ref's GLT watch Sounds absolutely ridiculous which is why I believe it

Yup, it’s not the Ref’s fault as he can’t give when his watch didn’t tell him. But I wonder if this is tested pre match or does he just put the watch on and he’s good to go, I’ve never thought of this before. But yes the VAR People should have stepped in and told him of the technology error.
