GrahamC
Weird this, I mean he’s so brilliant according to many on here that I expected sides very near the top to be queuing up to employ him. Instead this sad old ****** takes over a team in 21st place, level on points with a side in the relegation zone.

They’re propping up the table and we’re two points off the playoffs, ridiculous comparison. Do you honestly think SL wouldn’t have acted if we were where they are right now? Shaun Taylor
What's makes a man in early 70's, who's had a decent managerial career and no doubt financially sound leave a stunning home in Cornwall and move to dreary Teeside!

CyderInACan
Didn't Warnock - at one of his former (northern?) clubs - only travel up for training on a Friday? Or something like that? Leaving the day-to-day stuff with his coaches? Commuting from Devon or Cornwall anywhere outside the SW can't be a daily thing obvs and surely he;s not gonna live in an Hotel during the week? Although, if he does, I hope he takes his big plate with him.

The only way LJ is going to get poached is boiled for two minutes, simmered for another two and served on some nice deli style crusty toasted bread washed down with apple juice ( natch )

LondonBristolian
Genuinely intrigued to see how he does. He's got eight games to turn it round but the speed those games are coming at doesn't give him a lot of time to impart his ideas and drill the team on how he wants them to play. Massive challenge for any manager coming in to work with a team for only a month.
BristolCity1992
Listened to his interview the other day and he was clear he probably wouldn't work again, but I don't think he can help it. This is ideal for him though. 8 games and a big challenge he'll enjoy it regardless I'm sure.

Some how he makes things click and lets the players play that is in bread within and the he gels them into a team of quality. Football might be sh&$te but the results are good. He gets under the noses of other managers that gives his team a one goal advantage either home or away.
