Honest question ....has anyone, anywhere, ever laughed when they read a pun?

You’re right to question the ability of puns to make people laugh. I sent ten different puns to friends, with the hope that at least one of the puns would make them laugh. No pun in ten did.

surely it would be his bottom that smelled?  Anyway, made I laugh, appealled to my juvenile sense of humour!!

Needed/kneaded

Otherwise I can't work out what you were laughing at! But I'm glad you did, either way ?

It’s another appointment that gives us a sense of stability. I’d imagine he’ll serve at least 3 years no matter what happens. Manager pay outs are quite large so we’ve probably saved a wedge compared to other teams that go through 2/3 managers a season

Back in the 1980s, when I worked for a trade union, Chris Hughton used to write a football column for a newspaper called Newsline, which was the paper of the WRP (the Workers Revolutionary Party, one of three Trotskyist groupings at the time alongside Militant and the SWP).  I remember the paper being sold on picket lines in the dark days of Thatcher.  Surely one of the few footballers to come out as overtly left wing.  Wonder what his politics are these days?

I always thought he was a full back.

Back on topic and SSN now reporting he's only in talks. Could Talk Sport be a bit premature?

And underneath Huddersfield showing how quick getting a new manager in place can be. ?

For what many fans regard as the most important appointment for years, how would those fans have reacted had we moved quickly and announced the appointment of Leeds' first team coach 10 days ago?

Also it's relatively easy to make a quick appointment when you are offering a first team coach the job managing a championship club, and he won't need to uproot his family, as the new job is just along the road.

How many elections did she win?

Asking for a friend.

Just mentioned on SSN - all the presenter said, they would keep Bristol City fans informed on any news as soon as it comes in (words to that effect)!

Uncertain situation still with Bob Houghton & Ray Houghton in a 3 way fight for the job. So I’ve heard on here.
