Yeah had a look myself and couldn’t see anything. Still a very strange and oddly specific lie to tell.

Are all aircraft shown there, even small private ones? If I remember correctly we’ve nerdishly tracked his plane on here before during the end of transfer windows.

Thats that shit hole in a nutshell though,

You get more truth on gaschat then that place

Yes it does shows small/private planes. I imagine there’s ways you can keep it off if you really want to, mind.

Ah, weirdly Centreline run SL's plane (G-PULA) so that one that arrived at 17:04 could be it.

Two flights inbound to Bristol in the whole of UK airspace according to Flight Radar, and they’re both easyJeta, so unless Uncle Steve picked up an A320 in a fire sale, I think someone’s having a laugh!

Hopefully end of that rumour, now announce Houghton

Yep it is a bad page, felt it was worth sharing though just in case.

Looks like it wasn’t true then. Oh well I suppose that’s better news for those of people that want Hughton over Cook.

Edit: Oh wait.. hold that thought, just read subsequent replies. Interesting.

Say its an initial 3 year contract, the rumour is Hughton wanted ~20k a week, lets say Neil would start on similar to what LJ was on when he left. The difference is almost £500,000 per year in salary, so £3m release clause is effectively £1.5m more if you count the difference in wages paid. Next backroom staff, Neil knows Holden, has no real assistant to bring with him (according to PNE website he operates with 1st team coaches rather than assistant) whereas Hughton could want to bring his whole backroom staff at additional cost and could eat a fair chunk out of that £1.5m left, if he brings 1 person over you'd guess they'd be on half what Hughton is on so potentially another £500,000 out for Lawrence if he joined so £1m left.

So the question is would Chris Hughton spend more than £1m more than Alex Neil as manager? I'd guess yes, so in reality Hughton isn't more affordable than Neil even with the release clause

Plenty of guesswork going on there, fella. You might be right, but who knows? To do a bit of my own, I’d imagine anyone who comes in will have to work within the existing setup, that probably includes keeping Holden and McAllister even if they were part of the problem with LJ.

Let’s say that’s acceptable to Hughton and he’s on £20k a week for two years (£2.08m) - he is 61 after all and may not want a long stay if we don’t go up - that’s £902k cheaper than paying Neil’s buyout clause before we pay him £600k pa or £1.2m over the two years (£4.2m total spend).

Plenty of ifs and buts, although I know who’d I’d rather have out of those two.

?? where’s this come from then, this is like Peter Crouch being in the owners private jet to Newcastle when he was in the car on the way to Stoke

Also why would SL be travelling to interview anyone? Surely they will be coming to him?

I know this appears a bizarre interview process but I can only imagine SL would of travelled if it were to try and convince someone, such as Gerrard.
