I have been wracking my brains trying to remember the name of an old Hull winger, back in the early/mid 1970s, who always used to play well against us.

He was a well-built, solid bloke with red hair, and I am pretty sure it was not Ken Knighton.

Does anybody have any idea, or was it indeed KK?

Roy Greenwood perhaps?

I think I was envisaging Pato and Weimann as attacking midfielders behind a front 2 but you could be right...

Hunt                    Kalas                              Benkovic                   Baker                 Jay

                                 Pato                            Smith                    Weimann

                                                     Wells                          Fam

Ken Wagstaff springs to mind, very good player for them but more of a striker than winger I think.

Just think that leaves us light in the middle with Korey having to do too much, I'm think Chelsea style of a few years ago where they had Azpi and Alonso wide

Thats more or less what I was thinking - maybe Weimann behind the front two.

Selection of Weimann and ultra weak midfield shows Holden is very much part of the problem and should not be part of the solution!

Although switching to 5-3-2 in itself not a bad idea, just not with Pato and Weimann!!

Did you expect him to magic up a new midfield?

Ehm, where is the midfield?

Korey and...Pato as playmaker? ?

I'm guessing Benkovic will be moved into centre mid holding with Korey so either 4-4-2 or a 4-3-3 with Paterson as an attacking mid with Wells, Diedhiou and Weimann up top.

Guessing it's just the 4-4-2 though  thats much simpler. Patterson on left, Weimann right.

I think all interest has pretty much waned.

But hang on..  Cardiff lost, Millwall lost, now Derby losing... win today and it's back on...!

...Okay, no it's not.
