MOTM from the commentators

Anything those two say also won’t change my view. We won’t be near promotion if the players I mentioned are first choice next season.

How will a thread prove Baker was not injured many times when coming off?

LJ often said he had a niggle post match whenever Baker would come off at half time or in the first half.

Because someone did the analysis of each occasion he came off last time someone created a thread calling baker a sick note.

”often” is a perception.

Bentley made some decent saves but for me we either need a much more dominating team in defending set pieces, or Maenpaa back in the side.

I liked our shape today. Much more solid looking.

Pato MOTM for me. Absolute class at times.

Weimann poor again for me. Korey looked sloppy at times and was beaten once first half, and I thought the old Korey does not get beaten like that.

Fam good, but him and Wells is a terrible partnership. Wells needs to be our main number 9.

Kalas and Benkovic good, Kalas dealt well with Eaves. Vyner sort of improved second half but looks not ready to be honest, but good experience.

Interesting Taylor Moore talking about Maley Watkins. Talked about the damage it does to a players' confidence when they start one week and then get left out the squad the next. Guessing there is more than one player that applies to..

I thought so too - and then he said it again a few minutes later about Paterson as well.

Sorry but how can anyone analyse such thing? I have seen LJ many times say post match what injury Baker had for him to come off.

I'll try and find the thread and see myself. But to me he has always been happy to come off.

LJ even more or less said about him coming off too much in one post match interview, without actually naming him.

That was no improvement but nice to win. Hull had more shots than us yet commentators say were in control. Won because of Pato. Created little again.  Against a team like Hull we should be created 4-5 very good chances

In fairness, we wouldn't be saying this if Nakhi and Fammy both buried those 1v1s in the second half.

More shots but didn't threaten the goal much, we had more on target then them, Wells had a big chance and could have slid Weimann in, Fam hits it straight at the keeper too. Dropped off massively after they scored we were a lot more free with our attacks before their goal more times play broke down on edge of the box, game or two more getting used to how Holden wants to play and hopefully keeps improving

Based on lockdown performances so far only.

Keep - Nagy, Benkovic.

Out - Weimann, Hunt, Smith.

Although we've not seen a hell of alot from Benkovic it's nice to see a defender comfortable on the ball. We won't have a chance of signing him.
