That's what they say and I think they are right. If we had beaten Cardiff 1 nil instead of losing, and all other results were exactly the same, the table would look like this tonight;

                          P     Pts    GD

6   City             43    64    -2

7   Swansea     42    63     6

8   Preston       43    62     4

9   Millwall       43    62     3

10  Cardiff       43    61     2

11  Derby         43    61    -1

12 Blackburn   43    60     4
