If that's the case, relegated clubs have to go legal. Such an exceptional event is farcical. Just got in within last half hour but had a horrible feeling Aston Villa won even before checking the scores. I feared the cheers for the drop were too soon! Watford sacking Pearson imploded, Bournemouth late, late disallowed goal vs Southampton at 1-0, lose 2-0 even later. God I hate the *******. Spawny doesn't do it justice! cidercity1987
Well happy with tonight's results, definitely much better for us that Watford come down. I find them much more dislikeable than Villa with their trigger haopy owners.

Dynamite Red
Quite happily see Villa relegated but the way Watford have acted with Pearson will make me laugh so hard if they have ****** this up last minute. Hopefully Bournemouth will pull off a miracle and relegate both of them.

TonyTonyTony
I despise Villa with a passion. Wrongagain
I smell conspiracy! Ref was no way impartial, Arse could not be bothered, Grealish again most fouled diver, sky announcers talking like sexed up wannabe porn stars, so in love with villa - it’s like watching popular soaps, no honour left in football - some clubs seem have a right to be up there - I know what I would like to shove up there! Mr Popodopolous
I'm no conspiracy theorist, I just think they got rather lucky with how the fixtures fell and how some in-game events went. However, Arsenal had zero shots on target which is surprising! Crystal Palace had a goal disallowed under dubious circs very early via VAR. Everton at home- at home where they have had quite a strong record despite an indifferent season- had one shot on target only. Got them the draw however! Now I'll grant you that Man United penalty, well it wasn't. By the same token though- indeed, that Sheffield United decision was a joke- a disgrace. Was a 1/10,000 chance- well maybe maybe not but it's a freakish, weird one off error.
Lrrr
In the interest of fairness Grealish didn’t get given a pen early in the season when a few weeks later it would have been given after teething problems and they were prevented a goal because ref blew his whistle before the ball crossed the line on one so var couldn’t then award the goal after Plus side we’ve got rid of villa and Leeds in 2 seasons, sky might actually share the games properly now

If there is ever a legal case brought by any club to try and avoid relegation due to a referees decision going against them (Wigan and Sheffield Weds is different) that’s me done with professional football tbh. Andy082005
Let’s be honest here, for our own benefit we need Villa to stay up this season. As much as I dislike the arrogant dick heads....we just know they are always a force in this division Hopefully WBA go up to, and I would hope either Brentford or Fulham. It leaves the league looking far more favourable on paper next season
Guest
I'd rather the PL have to put up with the Villa fans. Mind you Sky are going to have a nervous breakdown planning next seasons championship live games - No Leeds or Villa? It'll be wall to wall east midlands shite. Add in the love affaire with the media to the exclusion of other clubs who merit as much , if not more , attention for their efforts and it all adds up. Personally I am more interested in how we can become a club with a history of cup wins and top division pedigree.

2015
As much as i dislike Aston Villa, I would much prefer Watford and Bournemouth to go down. Especially after Watford's sacking of Pearson and being such a bore in the Premier League. With Bournemouth it just reminds me of City's failures to not make it for so long. Also I feel the Premier League is much more watchable with the biggest clubs being in the league and whether we like it or not, Aston Villa are a big club. That is very respectable for a club the size of Villa.
