So, Leeds are up. If Baggies and Fulham go up too and Villa stay up there will be no-one in the Championship for Sky to cream themselves over and put on every week.

Unless some club appoints a `celebrity` manager, someone like Steven Gerrard for instance..................

You’ve overlooked Forest

Thanks to one point gifted them by Hawk-Eye.

If that's the case, relegated clubs have to go legal. Such an exceptional event is farcical.

Just got in within last half hour but had a horrible feeling Aston Villa won even before checking the scores.

I feared the cheers for the drop were too soon! Watford sacking Pearson imploded, Bournemouth late, late disallowed goal vs Southampton at 1-0, lose 2-0 even later.

God I hate the *******. Spawny doesn't do it justice!

Quite happily see Villa relegated but the way Watford have acted with Pearson will make me laugh so hard if they have ****** this up last minute.

Hopefully Bournemouth will pull off a miracle and relegate both of them.

Don't forget Sheffield Utd, they could miss out on Europe by 2 points. Reckon 3 clubs suing for lost earnings could make Hawk-eye sweat a bit

Well happy with tonight's results, definitely much better for us that Watford come down. I find them much more dislikeable than Villa with their trigger haopy owners.

You're happy to let stay up, the most arrogant spawny ******** I've seen in this League.

Purslow- slick *****.

Fans- Delta say no more.

Let's not forget that incredible slice of luck vs Sheffield United.

Each to their own obvs.

I smell conspiracy! Ref was no way impartial, Arse could not be bothered, Grealish again most fouled diver, sky announcers talking like sexed up wannabe porn stars, so in love with villa - it’s like watching popular soaps, no honour left in football - some clubs seem have a right to be up there - I know what I would like to shove up there!

I'm no conspiracy theorist, I just think they got rather lucky with how the fixtures fell and how some in-game events went.

However, Arsenal had zero shots on target which is surprising!

Crystal Palace had a goal disallowed under dubious circs very early via VAR.

Everton at home- at home where they have had quite a strong record despite an indifferent season- had one shot on target only. Got them the draw however!

Now I'll grant you that Man United penalty, well it wasn't.

By the same token though- indeed, that Sheffield United decision was a joke- a disgrace. Was a 1/10,000 chance- well maybe maybe not but it's a freakish, weird one off error.

In the interest of fairness Grealish didn’t get given a pen early in the season when a few weeks later it would have been given after teething problems and they were prevented a goal because ref blew his whistle before the ball crossed the line on one so var couldn’t then award the goal after

Plus side we’ve got rid of villa and Leeds in 2 seasons, sky might actually share the games properly now

**** Watford, middle of the road nothing club.

Didn't like them before they sacked Pearson.

Hope they go down and crash and burn next season, who the hell do they think they are.

At least Villa (Not a massive lover of) have stuck with their manager and hopefully get rewarded for it.

About time small clubs like Watford and Bournemouth are out of that league.

If there is ever a legal case brought by any club to try and avoid relegation due to a referees decision going against them (Wigan and Sheffield Weds is different) that’s me done with professional football tbh. Think your hatred for Villa may be clouding your judgement?

Let’s be honest here, for our own benefit we need Villa to stay up this season. As much as I dislike the arrogant dick heads....we just know they are always a force in this division

Hopefully  WBA go up to, and I would hope either Brentford or Fulham. It leaves the league looking far more favourable on paper next season

I'd rather the PL have to put up with the Villa fans.  Mind you Sky are going to have a nervous breakdown planning next seasons championship live games - No Leeds or Villa?  It'll be wall to wall east midlands shite.

Why are villa hated so much on this forum.we should worry more about our own team after a another poor season.

They are hated on other forums as well.

I suppose it’s the ‘ poppy ‘ syndrome and the arrogance that they are too big a club to be mixing with the hoi polloi.

Add in the love affaire with the media to the exclusion of other clubs who merit as much , if not more , attention for their efforts and it all adds up.

Personally I am more interested in how we can become a club with a history of cup wins and top division pedigree.

Don’t worry; they’ve got WR’s Derby County to fawn over now.

Unless by some miracle we appoint Gerrard in which case it will be wall to wall “Gerrard’s Bristol City!” :tv_horror:

Not to mention that they're another shitbag club that got around FFP with the buy your own stadium at an inflated price loophole so that they didn't have to sell Grealish, Mings and McGinn, who helped them win promotion.

As much as i dislike Aston Villa, I would much prefer Watford and Bournemouth to go down. Especially after Watford's sacking of Pearson and being such a bore in the Premier League.

With Bournemouth it just reminds me of City's failures to not make it for so long.

Also I feel the Premier League is much more watchable with the biggest clubs being in the league and whether we like it or not, Aston Villa are a big club.

I'm in agreement 2015. Love to see Watford relegated after what they done. I also dislike Villa, but if it had to be the choice of two, Watford deserve to go down.
