Matthew me
Already starting to look at potential away days next season. I've been boring last few years, Brum, QPR, Reading, Cardiff. Any suggestions for a good away day? Wife and kids will be with me.

Red Exile
Much as I love an away day I fear that they won't be returning any time soon. But when they do...I enjoyed Stoke more than I thought I would this season...in normal times get the train, on a nice day there's a decent walk along the canal, bus laid on back to the station. Passionate atmosphere. And Preston is a long way but neat ground, nice town, walkable from the station or easy parking near the ground. Great local history museum with football stuff if you like that sort of thing. Friendly home fans in my experience. You know you've had a day out if you go as far as Preston! LondonBristolian
Might have posted this elsewhere but my Uncle lives in Wycombe and I went to see them when they were non-league under O'Neill in around '92. I'm gutted that we're now both in the second tier in a season where an away day looks like it might be impossible.

Lrrr
For what its worth I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see a change in regulations for next season where we don't see away fans at games, with local outbreaks likely the govt won't want tens of thousands of football fans travelling all over the country every week tracing everyone would be a nightmare with how badly they're struggling atm. exAtyeoMax
Brentford, Fulham are my favourite. I did love Villa away too, and Leeds. Wanted to go to Charlton but being on Boxing Day, I wasn’t able to go. looking forward to going to Wycombe, always wanted to go to Preston but it was usually mid week. the main thing I’m sad about for next season is the thought of no away days. Shaun Taylor
Same again depending on time of year and away fans being allowed you could visit the Norfolk broads when up in Norwich

It's the White Horse, funnily enough when we run a coach to Wycombe from the Pied , we could fill the coach twice over! It is a grim pub mind, but there is a decent boozer right next door if you don't fancy the entertainment on offer.
