I hate that the VAR point against Sheffield Utd could well keep Villa up

I still say they should have walked the ball in the net at the restart of the second half when it was very obvious a mistake had been made

edit: there was the Palace situation though, and Arsenal with the player in the wall?

No other club would have.

Leeds allowed Villa to walk the ball in after scoring when a player was down injured, thats the whole point because Dean Smith asked Bielsa to let them score

We didnt when Sears scored that was an obvious goal.

Its about Dean Smith though, he came out after the game and said why should he let Sheffield Utd have a goal when they wouldn't do it for Villa despite the situation with Leeds last season and him asking

I know we didn't but that was slightly different circumstances in as much that immediately after it happened it was half time and the referees admitted a mistake had been made. Villa directly gained advantage from a "walk in" just last season against Leeds

West Ham weren't interested almost looked fixed!

It's funny that such a ropey defence as Aston Villa had, conceded just one shot on target in 2 games.

Zero to Arsenal who have scored a few of late- they could turn it round v Liverpool, beat Man City and what with Aubameyang gong for golden boot as well- and then one today.

Vile spawny club, from top to bottom.

Msssive bunch of arrogant belters in their fanbase.

Overpriced ground.

History is just that- history.

Slick ***** like Purslow.

Grealish the fairy tends to go down like a sack of spuds.

Their hypocrisy- see demanding to be given a goal with Leeds then that pointy saving them and Smith being okay with it- he's a whinging ***** too, fits in well there.

After the absolute disgusting decision they had away to Palace I dont think the Sheff Utd result matters in any way

What rubbish- Sakho had a goal disallowed early doors.

Vile club, vile fans- hell Vile is their nickname by Birmingham fans and how right they are.

Reading this tread it would seem VAR only made one mistake all season!!!

I for one am happy Villa stayed up and Bmouth went down

Wasn't VAR, it was a literal 1/god knows how many error by goal-line tech,
