I'm quite excited for this appointment to be made now, whatever way it goes

Holden - the backlash and meltdown on here would be incredible

Hughton - the apology posts to the Lansdown family would be overwhelming

Someone else - the shock factor

It's a real soap opera. I mean just today a big character got killed off, an employee's sexuality was revealed and now we've got a hell of a cliffhanger!

The process has still been shambolic, tinpot and embarrassing whoever is announced.

Jeez man, calm down! Like many others, GET A BLOODY GRIP!

Why? We were told the club want to move forward! We were told we’d be getting a proven manager to take the club forward!! Nearly 6 weeks have past and we end up with someone who’s managed 5 behind closed doors championship matches!!!!

I’m actually at the point now where I’m starting to miss the good old days of Lee Johnson

I’m beginning to miss Sean O’Driscoll and Tony Pulis

You won’t be apologizing then???

I suppose if it's anyone other than Holden it will be relief as my first emotion. Relief and surprise.

But the whole shabby affair has destroyed any faith I might have in the current set-up at the club.

We. Are. Smalltown.

No doubt it looks the way and I'm inclined to agree- however it's easy when we don't see the mitigating factors behind the scenes. For all we know Hughton has had the job for weeks, has been working on plans but didn't want to be formally announced (for whatever reason).

Highly doubtful I know - but until an announcement and statement is released, everything is just conjecture.

Bristol City ay?

It’s been well executed and handled.

Cant think of anything I’d have done differently.

Can I call it first that we’re just waiting on Paul Cook to see our at a no employment period.

Do you mean notice between quitting Wigan and joining us?

Certainly if he's effectively quit them under false pretences,  or it is viewed as such, legal or financial wrangling could follow.
