Yes, they haven’t looked the same side at all this season, a bit of a re-building job will be done I imagine. I read that Xavi was offered the job earlier in the season, but declined it. Think the last lot -obviously barring Dean (!) - were students of the backward, sideways passing ‘crab’ movement of the mid 80’s. Power, Press, Pass (FORWARD & FAST) is the name of the evolving game - very much as rugby has evolved. Our midfield ( if we had one) should be asking themselves why, on a quick break, are the 4/5 of us on the edge of our own box and not that of the opposition.
