Whats the difference between an authentic shirt for £100 and the £65 one? They look exactly the same.

Just another way to fleece the fans. No sympathy though as people will no doubt buy the authentic one without batting an eyelid.

Don't the authentic ones use the same technology as the players shirts with regards to sweat and temperature control, whereas the replica ones are just bog standard material? I stand to be corrected of course.

Temperature control is essential for sitting in front of the TV with a pizza and beer...

Edit: Just found this:-

Authentic jerseys are form fitted to stay tight to players while they play and give opponents less to grab on to. Replica jerseys on the other hand actually have extra room in the shoulders and mid-section to allow for a variety of body shapes and give that relaxed comfortable fit

Seems like a bit of an American thing creeping in over the last few years. Pretty sure NBA/NFL/NHL do these two types of tops. First I remember in this country was when Nike started doing the England shirts

The authentic ones are same as the players wear, usually some form of wicking or sweat reducing technology, tighter fit etc and the cheaper one is usually a bit looser fit

If you look at the difference in quality between the Match £100 kits and the replica ones its shocking, its like you're getting a fake version from the market.
