Nagy right wing back. Interesting...

He has played right back before for a previous club but hardly at all.

And he played there briefly one game for us.

And Bakinson at the back interesting too.

Not so sure about that midfield though!

Wouldn’t read to much into it. More about getting minutes under the belt

Why?

We'd still sign him even if we knew he was out for up to 12 weeks. The club's been watching him for a while and he was available at a good price.

Maybe the reason the price was half the rumoured release clause was that they couldn’t afford to wait until he was fit to sell him.

No worries.

It’s part of our DNA to ensure that we sign at least one player per season who is injured. We were lucky last season with Nagy that he lasted a couple of games at the start.

It’s like Ashton Gate is a charitable rest home for the physically and mentally unfit.

Our injury record over the last couple of years has been shocking. Even more worrying is the amount of players who seem to pick up long term injuries in training

Would love to know who did Williams medical to

Medical was fine . But then he fell of the bleady roof :laughcont:

According to BL - Some sources have even suggested that Williams is out for a lengthy amount of time - up to 12 weeks - with an injury that was carried over from his time at Wigan

So our big main £1 million signing, we now know we got on the cheap as has an ongoing injury.

IIRC, John Galley was injured when we signed him, and he didn't do too badly.

I think that's what you call.........An open and shut case?  The defence rests.  IMHO Tommy is suffering from his own version of Stockholm Syndrome?
